The 90/100 acre Rainier intermodal facility is a rail reload, log yard, and marine terminal. Within each component we offer multiple services.
Beyond the logs you will find more acres of finished lumber that was trucked to our facility for shipment via our intermodal facility. Teevin Bros. then moves the lumber to the two barges that dock at our facility for loading by the local longshoremen. In total, Teevin Bros. ships approximately 14 million board feet of lumber, enough lumber to build 700 homes every 3 weeks.
The Teevin terminal is also home to Sause Bros. a marine transportation company. In a partnership with Teevin Bros and Weyerhaeuser we provide Home Depot in Long Beach, California with 16 million board feet of lumber a month, for them to distribute to their many stores throughout southern California.
